Vanguardia Jurídica is a specialized academic journal established by the National Directorate of Legal Advisory of the Office of the Contraloría General de la República de Panamá, in collaboration with the Universidad de Panamá. Its purpose is to promote high-level legal research, fostering critical reflection and in-depth analysis on legal issues and their interaction with other disciplines.
Committed to academic excellence and adherence to ethical principles, Vanguardia Jurídica provides a platform for scientific dissemination that welcomes articles, essays, jurisprudential studies, doctrinal works, and interdisciplinary contributions addressing legal phenomena from complementary perspectives such as economics, political science, sociology, public administration, ethics, technology, and human rights.
The journal seeks to strengthen dialogue among the legal community, academia, and society by addressing the contemporary challenges of law and its transformations. In doing so, it actively contributes to the development of Panamanian and regional legal thought, promoting the construction of a critical, pluralistic, and innovative legal culture.
