Abstract

Induction and integration as strategy to familiarize the recently hired employees is the key to faster a culture of high-quality performers.  It is necessary for the company to develop induction and integration program for the employees to get familiar with the company’s culture, standard operating procedures, policies, and the workforce and help them identify the organizational objectives and how to accomplish them.  This strategy offers multiple advantages: reduces stress, anxiety and the insecurity of them starting at a new place.  It allows new employees to understand the performance expectations of the role; familiarize them with the facilities, their roles and responsibilities as well as their benefits.  For this strategy to be successful, it is necessary to involve the team assigned to the new employee.  This will provide him/her with a solid foundation, confidence to perform the assigned tasks and receive the appropriate feedback allowing the company to obtain the desired results and a highly motivated workforce.
