Abstract

The scientific research on pedestrian mobility between the galleries of the Hotel El Panama and the Iglesia del Carmen Metro Station allowed us to acquire the characteristics of the pedestrian flow and its patterns where these are influenced by sunlight, its accessibility, and the importance of destination of the pedestrians. In order to acquire these data, a videographic technique was used, using two cameras with visual angles at strategic points in the study area, the pedestrian flow was visualized, the number of people who traveled the area, with an approximate of 2500 people, and the greater density of people in transition, which was from the gallery of Hotel El Panama to the other side of the Via Veneto and vice versa.
