Abstract

In order to identify academic and technical criteria that allow the selection and use of simulators as didactic resources for the teaching of subjects that require the mandatory use of laboratory practices, an online form was applied remotely througout the months of September, December of 2020, to the coordinators and teachers  teaching courses in the area of Computer Networks, Operating Systems and Computer Architecture in the School of Informatics for Educational and Business Management, in six academic units nationwide. 89.19% answered this instrument which compiled the results of the academic-professional training and the area of specialty according to the current teaching organization. As a conclusive aspect, it was determined that 96.96% of the respondents recognized that simulators fulfill a technical-didactic function for teaching through non presential classes under virtual learning environments
