Abstract

The research identifies inequalities in access to virtual classrooms - equipment and connectivity - from the implementation of the virtual study motivated by the appearance of Covid-19 and mandatory distancing measures. It is quantitative- descriptive and not probabilistic. To collect the information, an electronic questionnaire was developed, whose sample was 326 students selected from the enrollment database, as a result it is evidenced that (58.9%) of the students participating in the study have limited access to the virtual classroom. These figures increase in the case of women to 64.4%, decreasing in men (48.8%), which shows differentiated accesses by sex. While, in relation to geographical areas, it shows significant differences between study centers located between different geographical areas.
