The Revista Contacto is an academic publication of the University of Panama, available online with open access and national and international dissemination in the area of Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, and Political Science. It is sponsored by the Vice-Rector's Office for Research and Postgraduate Studies and is attached to the Institute of Human Rights, Justice, and Peace. It receives unpublished articles in Spanish or English indistinctly, which are reviewed in their original language through a double-blind peer review system. It is published four-monthly, with three issues per year: January - April; May - August; and September - December.
