In order to improve and modernize the orientation-learning process through the use of ICT, the proposal was reinforced with the findings from a research carried out in the College of Nursing of the University of Panama in 2013, on the use of ICT in the teaching-learning process in the Department of Public Health Nursing, in addition to considering the objective posed to design a proposal to shorten the intergenerational technological difference between facilitators and participants majoring in Public Health Nursing where they reported that among the influences the ICT has in the learning process are that it facilitates access to information, motivates studying, improves understanding and concentration. These elements were
the basis for creating a proposal that focuses on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the orientation-learning process of Public Health II and III, which are fundamental courses in the Bachelor of Nursing major.
The educational possibilities generated with the incorporation of ICT in the educational process allow an adequate learning of reality in practice, in any type of science.
