Abstract

The blockchain, or blockchain, is a disruptive technology that burst into the business world with the emergence of bitcoin as the first non-state electronic currency. It happened because the informatics of its construction provides a very advanced structure of immutability, which means an almost inviolable security of transmission, content reservation and data unalterability. The impact on the world of finance and commerce is important because it reduces the time and costs of its processes since, among other applications, it eliminates tax barriers in the international mobilization of capital. This digital program can also be used in other fields, as it is not yet fully developed. Industrial production processes, contracts and agreements between many parties, supply chains and the archives of numerous institutions are safeguarded by this binary algorithm and determine a new stage in information and communication technologies.
