In order to identify the characteristics and styles that define the leadership profile in management, a brief identification of this environment was made, where the interests and needs of the company converge, from the organizational and human resources point of view. Using a qualitative methodology, a bibliographic analysis was carried out; Through the analytical-synthetic method, the object was studied in each of its parts and the reasoning strategy considered that leadership is enhanced from the assertive work carried out by its leaders, encouraging teamwork. The results obtained highlight that leadership is the ability of certain individuals to raise the vision of workers towards the most demanding goals, which allowed us to conclude that the dominant principle of the organization has changed from management as a means to control , to leadership to get the best out of people and respond quickly to change, understanding that leadership and management are mutually inclusive and complementary.
