Abstract

Software engineering is a discipline of information science that uses various design methodologies whose characteristics are adapted to the needs of the user/client. Each information system is a complex design whose functionality responds to a determined operability. Among the agile methodologies is Scrum, which is identified by the permanent communication with the client, the development by stages, the adaptability of the process, the resulting product and the effective architecture over the rigorous registration of the process. In the last decade of the 21st century, Scrum has been used as a university training strategy with positive results. The article presented is a documentary review of the different forms of its application in university environments whose main conclusion is the possibility of increasing the effectiveness of learning the disciplines related to the areas of digital information systems design in Panamanian universities.
