In the nowadays sceneries, the using of technologies of information and communications is increasing, in the creation of virtual environment to develop the processes of teaching-learning. It is known that there is a need and a challenge for the contemporary educational institutions. The objective of this investigation is to study the theoretical basis that support this type of teaching, may contribute to the design of a conceptual model, to be implemented in an Educative institution. To fulfill this objective, different methods and techniques have been applied: direct observation documental analysis of content, surveys and interviews directed to teachers and students, so that act in favor of the development of the diagnostic, since the analysis and evaluation collected, and the main limitations related to the topic of investigation, also the meaningful results are presented and finally, the proposal of conceptual model for the design, implementation, monitoring and assessment of virtual projects of teaching, for the educative object of study, that can be generalized to other institutions which do this type of teaching.
