Pre-professional internships are a prerequisite to graduate from the Faculty of Social Legal Sciences and Education of the Technical University of Babahoyo, where students must complete a total of 240 hours of pre-professional internships in a company or public or private institution. These internships seek to gain experience in the professional field, identify interest in a specialty, create a network of contacts, and gain merit. The present study is an analysis of the reports presented by various careers of the faculty on the guidelines executed in the activities of pre-professional practices. The diagnosis seeks to evaluate the performance and impact of the practices in the training of students and their future employability, showing if the program is being carried out effectively and contributing to the development of professional skills and competencies of the students. At the end of the study, it is proposed to improve the integration of the process in the academic computer system of the university, unify documents, processes and standardize the activities for the process of pre-professional practices.
