Abstract

This research presents a proposal for the adaptation and integration of ICT to the higher education system of the University of Panama in the various subjects with the purpose of restructuring the teaching spaces so that they can be integrated effectively, in order to achieve learning. more active and in line with the current reality of the ongoing training of students throughout their higher education. The objective is to present a proposal for the adaptation and integration of the use of ICT in higher education at the University of Panama in various subjects. The methodology is framed in the quantitative modality, non-experimental design, field type. The study population consisted of 50 professors and the sample corresponded to 35 of them from different faculties. The survey technique was used to collect data, with the instrumental support of the questionnaire. The conclusion was reached that it is necessary to apply a program of adaptation and integration of ICT in the performance of teachers to achieve better effectiveness in teaching-learning.
