The central objective was to register the ICT appropriation strategy, according to the needs of the communities of the municipalities in the area of influence of the Paramo de Santurban to link them with the social welfare activities promoted by the Alianza BioCuenca Foundation through the miPáramo project. ICT can be an element that enhances development, but making this potential effective depends on organizational aspects, development of skills and abilities, integration actions within the cultural and social identity of the group, modification of social processes, among others. To carry out the methodology, telephone and territorial surveys were carried out, along with personalized interviews that allowed us to know the relationship of technology from the Colombian peasant rurality. In addition, the Valora TIC APP was used in accordance with the units of analysis on the ICT/subjects relationship, to facilitate the interpretation and study of sociocultural relationships with technology. One of the results expresses that farmers recognize that access to ICT has allowed them to improve and promote their productive practices through consultations and forms of interaction with other users to: share experiences, clarify doubts about their activities, learn about production models.
