Abstract

This study addressed the theoretical interconnection between youth entrepreneurship and cultural diplomacy, recognizing it as a nascent field of research. Within the framework of contemporary international relations, this type of diplomacy has solidified its position in fostering understanding and cooperation among countries, while entrepreneurship emanating from young groups emerges as a force contributing to a nation's socioeconomic development. The research identified a lack of an analytical framework that dissects the appropriate dynamics of interdependence between youth- led entrepreneurial initiatives and the inherent objectives of cultural diplomacy. It is therefore necessary to elucidate the extent to which entrepreneurship generated by young populations contributes to the international projection of cultural values, capacities, and identities. The study aimed to elucidate the conceptual interconnection between both phenomena, seeking to establish their theoretical manifestations for the construction of a framework facilitating the study of this link from a sociological perspective, adopting a qualitative approach justified by the nature of its general objective. The research is categorized as a theoretical-conceptual and documentary study,

based on the analysis of secondary sources whose content lies in the interpretation of social phenomena. The methodological design, for its part, consisted of a systematic literature review with a thematic-conceptual analysis, identifying themes and categories that link cultural diplomacy and youth entrepreneurship. The results indicate a notable interconnection between both fields, determining that youth entrepreneurship can operate as a practice of cultural diplomacy through the internationalization of projects that must rely on the support of transnational social capital networks. Reciprocally, cultural diplomacy, through exchange platforms, shapes an environment that contributes to the potential development of youth ventures with global resonance. The originality of the study presented here resides in its proposal of an analytical framework for the study of a scarcely explored theoretical perspective, which implies expanding

cultural diplomacy to include non-state actors, as well as recognizing the bidirectional potential of this synergy. Therefore, the implications of the research suggest the possibility of integrating youth entrepreneurship as part of a country's foreign policy strategies.
