Abstract

interactionism cannot be ignored, because these facts must be studied from the perspective and experiences of the people who live them, which is achieved through the permanent process of communication existing.

Emphasizes the importance of human interactions in the formation of the meanings and perceptions of the reality that each person has and which he builds over time.

Four aspects related to symbolic interactionism are briefly presented: relationship between qualitative research and symbolic interactionism; precursors representative of this current; communication as the fundamental basis of social interactionism, and the postulates that support it.
