Climate change presents urgent challenges that require responses from environmental education and climate change education. This study analyzes 21 initiatives developed between 2019 and 2025 in the municipalities of Sabana Centro (Cundinamarca) to identify their pedagogical approaches, involved actors, achievements, and challenges in relation to climate action. Through qualitative documentary systematization, School Environmental Projects (PRAE) and community-based experiences that integrate environmental education with climate change education were reviewed. The results show progress in sustainable practices, student participation, and the articulation between school, community, and territory; however, they also reveal limitations in evaluation, monitoring, and institutional continuity. It is concluded that strengthening contextualized environmental education oriented toward climate change is essential for fostering a responsible and resilient citizenship capable of addressing the region’s socio-environmental challenges.
