Abstract

The scale of attitudes towards indebtedness is validated, developed by Denegri et al., (2012), which consists of 11 items in a Likert-type format, with four response options: strongly agree, agree, disagree and strongly disagree, scoring 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 321 students from the Universidad Latina, Santiago campus, distributed in six faculties, in 2019. To measure the internal consistency of the scale, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. The data was processed with Microsoft Excel 2016, and the free download plugin XRealStats for that version. The result was an alpha of 0.74, which implies an assessment of the reliability of the acceptable elements.
