Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a behavioral disorder that arises in childhood with a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity present in at least two contexts as its main symptom. A bibliographical review is made aimed at providing scientific information, endorsed by specialists that allows knowing the inherent aspects of ADHD. The EBSCO host database and the Google Scholar search engine were used. The results are represented through a prism flowchart and the Zotero bibliographic manager, obtaining 9 scientific publications for analysis. The findings suggest the need for attention at an early age, the collaboration of specialists, teachers and parents, with the intention of improving the future adaptation of students who suffer from it to the social context. It is concluded that it is a public health problem that occurs in children, young people and adults, where the efforts made through scientific contributions are aimed at offering teachers and parents the precise guidelines to intervene in a timely manner in possible case.
