The objective of this research was to learn about the opinion that a group of female university professors had about their visibility in the universities where they work at. The group taken into consideration was 11 teachers who works in 5 different universities of the Panamanian university education system. The instrument used was a questionnaire constructed ad hoc with 30 questions, one of single selection, 4 dichotomous and the rest open-ended. The technique used for its application was a structured interview. The results are based on the information provided by 11 female university teachers working in the higher education system in Panama. The conclusions reached are that women who are professionals in Physical Education that work as university teachers do not consider that separating their family and social life from their work life is a possibility to perform satisfactorily in their work environment, and both must be understood under specific circumstances. It should also be pointed out that they consider it is necessary that the university should be a space where the professional woman in Physical Education has the full possibility of transforming and growing, so it is necessary to focus on her levels of responsibility and on the purpose that guides her pedagogical action, which is why this should be constantly reflected on, so that this institution strengthens its role of being a transforming entity and not a perpetuator of stereotypes
