Abstract

ICT tools offer a multitude of possibilities to facilitate learning and a didactic approach with great advantages for students and teachers has changed and impacted the whole society in the development of its activities, affecting the world economy, worrying the production, supply chain, and its financial impact on companies and financial markets. Objective: To evaluate the use of ICT tools in the Regional Centers of the University of Panama Methodology: This is a mixed research, where the experimentation of the professors within the different virtual platforms and the use of ICT tools will be evaluated, in addition they will complete a questionnaire with questions related to the acquired experiences. At the end, a final evaluation of the ICT tools and virtual platforms used by teachers will be carried out, characterizing their benefits and disadvantages, which will allow establishing strategies and implementation programs and follow-up controls in the management of ICT tools. Conclusion: ICT can also contribute to educational inclusion, allowing students with disabilities to access adapted contents and favoring the participation of those who face difficulties in attending face-to-face classes. However, it is essential to ensure an equitable distribution of technological resources to avoid generating inequalities among students. If properly managed, ICTs have the potential to transform education in the Regional Centers, improving both access and quality of teaching.
