Adaptive behavior is a skill group that human beings show, which are required for daily life within different surroundings. In consequence, can lead the way to a weakness or a strength. This article pretends to estimate the evaluation of strengths and weaknesses in life as a strategic aspect of strengthening adaptive skills of kids and teenagers with intellectual disabilities. The actual study was performed in Colon, Panama, using exploratory and longitudinal design for a only group investigation with the purpose to analyze the quantity data. 51 kids and teenagers with intellectual disabilities from Panamanian Institute of Special Habilitation of Colon (IPHE) take part in this investigation. Every mother and caregiver of students were applied the Evaluation System of Behavior and Adaptive Skill Test (Harrison 2013; Oakland, 2013, ABAS II) in order to value the strengths and weaknesses. This work strives to become a viable tool for educators, parents, caregivers and professionals, in order to develop better inclusive education programs for people with intellectual disabilities.
