This study analyzes the impact of the TikTok platform as an audience acquisition and information dissemination tool for the digital newspaper "Dumas Informa". Objective: To determine whether the use of TikTok increases visibility, engagement, and traffic to the medium's website. Methodology: A quantitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory scope was employed. The sample was non-probabilistic by convenience, consisting of 133 individuals aged 18 to 49, who answered a structured 12-item questionnaire about consumption habits and perception of TikTok formats. Results: 92.5% of respondents consider that TikTok contributes to increasing the visibility of "Dumas Informa". 63.9% prefer video format, while 36.1% choose photography. Furthermore, 89.5% rate TikTok as important for journalism due to its immediacy and direct language, although they warn about the risk of fake news. Conclusions: It is concluded that TikTok functions as an effective channel for discovery and engagement, but credibility and final conversion are consolidated on the website. The strategic integration of both environments is key for brand positioning and monetization in the digital ecosystem.
