For at least fifteen years, the use of computers in the different levels of education has increased rather quickly.
We based this reality with the purpose of knowing the situation in higher education, we surveyed a group of students who attended the Teaching Resources Module for Higher Education, which is part of the Teaching Methods Training Program offered by ICASE. The survey was more related to learning assessment through Inter- net.
The surveyed gathered impressions of faculty who atended the class, in six aspects, namely: test reliability, difficulties found, use of this technological resource in their student-teaching, time allotment of the test, diversity of means to communicate with their students, and evaluation of the experience.
The faculty indicated that the use of this electronic resource is realiable, as long as effective controls are set; that the time allotment was enough and that the evaluation instrument did not have mayor problems; and finally, that aong with Inter- net, it would be convenient to use other means to establish an adequate communication with students.
This first experience is set within the perspective of the most susteinable electronic recourses in the activities of ICASE as a preamble to future virtual training activities.
