With the purpose of evaluating the presence of pathogen bacteria, such as Vibrio spp. y Saltmonella spp., associated to contamination coliform indicators in the mid-low section of La Villa River, three water samples were taken during both the dry and the rainy season. The filtering membrane technique was applied and the pathogens associated were isolated by the crop improvement technique and the selection was made through specific means associated to physical field parameters, such as turbidity and pH. The findings showed a greater occurrence of total coliforms and E. coli in the dry season, with 1% (<0.0001). A greater occurrence of total coli-forms was found in the low level of La Villa River basin with a mean of 1162.7 UFC. In accordance with the asso-ciation of the indicators to the pathogen bacteria, a greater occurrence of them was discovered during the dry season, with a value of 56.1% and a probability of 0.432. In relation to the river level, greater frequency pathogens were isolated in the mid-section, with 65.9%. In the same way, there was no difference between seasons and levels on the basis of the pH, while there were highly significant differences respect to turbidity, which means that there is no strong association between the indicators and the pathogens, unlike the physical parameters, especially, turbidity.between seasons and
