Abstract

I present the first survey of herpetofauna in the Reserva Hidrica Cerro Turega, Cordillera Central, province of Cocle. This work was executed between the years 2006 and 2015. I found a total of 35 species of amphibians and reptiles distributed in 13 families, including 21 frogs and toads, 8 lizards and 6 snakes. We report range extensions in Panama for Anotheca spinosa, Enyalioides heterolepis, Urotheca guentheri, and Bothriechis schlegelii.
