Abstract

The undeniable presence of violence against women within our American societies and contemporary Ecuador is one of the theoretical reasons that justify this work. But beyond any theoretical construct, motivates the present approach, the work of a project like S.O.S Women. Defined by its social proxies in favor of battered women. For its undeniable positioning in favor of seeking and finding social, economic, political and cultural alternatives for its women, the women of our Ecuador. It is in virtue of such aspects that the present work is projected, from a defined social problem, to a coordinated set of practical actions that contribute to solve this problem. S.O.S Women are an axiological paradigm that we all dream is enthroned as a daily reality in our lands of America, in our world. The Technological University, Israel in commitment to the strengthening of society and vulnerable sectors undertakes a series of activities that contribute to development from different areas, with the aim of providing cognitive tools and practices to families and especially to women through the application of several courses around the administrative area for the people associated with the SOS Women Collective, for which a mixed quali - quantitative method was applied, supported by empirical methods such as observation with the application of information gathering techniques. Obtaining the participation of 890 women from 17 neighborhoods in the province of Pichincha have benefited to date with the acquisition of knowledge and skills, this is achieved through the articulation of inter-institutional support, where coordinated activities of students, teachers, administrative staff all in favor of strengthening micro entrepreneurs who fight for their well-being.
