Abstract

New technologies allow people to communicate from anywhere in the world, mainly through social networks. It represents an advantage from the economic and social point of view, there is a vulnerable group in which different risk behaviors are evident, and such is the case of adolescents. The objective of this research is to analyze the sexual behavior of adolescents in direct communication social networks, for which a descriptive study with a qualitative approach is used, through a bibliographic review with the Prism method.  The results report that direct communication social networks cause sexual practices different from those observed in previous generations; the prevalence of sexting and exhibitionism is evidenced, in the majority carried out by adolescent women who seek acceptance from the partner or fit into a group of peers. In this sense, the consequences of such practice derive in negative aspects related to the use of ICT such as grooming caused by the harassment of adults who extort young people to send intimate photographs or videos and cyberbullying that implies the dissemination of this content without consent, which causes moral damage.
