During a visit to a slope located in the sector of Miramar District of Santa Isabel Province of Colon, we noticed that due to the height, the high slopes, the characteristics of the soil (silty-clayey with high plasticity content), landslides in small sectors and high humidity contents that it presents conditions for a landslide that compromises the nearby homes, the communication routes, and the public services that are offered to the neighboring sectors. That is why we carry out a geotechnical analysis to calculate the global collapse failure and thereby keep the slope stabilization proposal within the Safety parameters as established in our Panamanian Structural Regulations in Chapter 6.
