This study identified the resources and capacities that influence the economic performance of the artisan pottery and ceramics business of La Arena. For this purpose a non-experimental type design was used with qualitative, quantitative, correlational, transectional and descriptive exploratory approaches. We applied a multiple regression model and performed different hypothesis tests to determine if the independent variables, resources and innovation capacities explained the behavior of the dependent variable, economic performance. It was evidenced that the variables intangible resources, knowledge and skills, as well as the innovations in product and innovation in the work organization were statistically significant, while tangible resources such as raw materials, finished products and machinery and equipment, as well as The innovating skills in process and innovation in marketing, do not explain the behavior of the economic performance of the workshops of crafts.
