This present research study is based on identifying the benefits that provide the virtual modality in relation to the Teaching Practice subject in the Diversified Secondary Education Major at Science Education Faculty, University of Panama, for those students which live in hard-to-reach areas can be able to enroll the subject DIDTEC 518 Teaching practice in virtual modality. Supported by authors such as: Rubio (2003), Hashemi (2018), Díaz (2002). It was considered a mix approach, on the holistic-inductive method, the chosen population were groups of the major, on a sample consisting of 50 students. A questionnaire of closed questions was used. The results are presented in tables and graphs for the data processing, analysis, and interpretation of them. It was concluded, the studies programs conducted through Distance Education are more customizable which are more time-adjustable and learning capacities on students. Moreover, such programs are consistent with the mark demand, creating commitments and responsibilities on students, as its knowledge to develop and keep a direct relation with the identified needs in the market, the availability of technological research tools, communication and interaction are superior in the Distance Education. Thereby, knowledge can be constantly updated in a particular area.
