As part of the study plan for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the students of last semester, perform the diagnosis of community health, with a participatory action research methodology where they analyze the health situation of the population, identify their problems, needs , main risk factors and protective factors; for the joint development of a community work plan, to strengthen the empowerment of the community. The objective of this work is to analyze the main results obtained from the community health diagnoses carried out; using a retrospective methodology, through the review and descriptive analysis of the community diagnoses corresponding to the period 2010 - 2017 and based on the documented information. The results show that from 2010 to 2017 there have been 12 (twelve) community health diagnoses in diverse urban, rural, educational and labor communities. The main results obtained in the four communities with respect to the population pyramid show that 52.4% belong to the male sex and 47.6% to the female sex, the population predominates between the ages of 25 and 29, represented 13.1% (263) followed by the children from 0 to 4 years old represented by 12.7% (264). 60% (231) of the population in the four communities present their immunization schedule per day. The main social risks that the communities refer to are crime and gangs. This analysis made it possible to determine the similarities in the main problems identified (delinquency, gangs, hypertension, diabetes and obesity) in the various communities studied and calls on us to continue carrying out health interventions primarily to promote health and prevent diseases with an integral approach incorporating community.
