Abstract

These reflections are based on how the effects of the new labor provisions have impacted labor relations and benefits, in the post-pandemic period, from March 2020 to the present day. The reflections offer a historical overview of what happened with the appearance of Covid-19, in labor matters in Panama City. Various bibliographic and infographic sources were used on everything that happened at the beginning, during and after the pandemic. Also, various indicators were considered, such as vacations, thirteenth months, seniority premium, notice and compensation, which were affected by the various changes introduced in the legal statutes, as containment measures to counteract the effects of the pandemic on the population. economy, social and family life. However, despite the 61 new regulations issued, including resolutions, decrees and laws, including those of the Ministry of Health, there are biases that have affected post-pandemic employment benefits.
