Abstract

The term telecommuting was first coined in 1972 by Jack Nilles. He worked remotely on a complex NASA communication system to contribute to the existing oil crisis in the United States. In the year 2020 we have seen unprecedented changes in the global economy and in the world of work. On March 11 of the same year, the World Health Organization (WHO) described the new coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic and urged all governments worldwide to seriously face this problem and prepare for the first wave of the health emergency. public with several drastic measures, one of which was confinement in many countries (WHO, 2020). Consequently, one of the sectors affected by this measure were the banks established in the District of Panama.
