This research article proposes and develops an original conceptual framework for integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) into feedback processes for writing in English as a foreign language (EFL). The proposal is grounded in Vygotsky's Sociocultural Theory with the aim of guiding a sound, ethical, and strictly human-centered pedagogical adoption. Using a qualitative approach based on a critical and analytical review of the specialized literature on the capabilities and limitations of GAI tools, a relational model of human-GAI collaboration was designed. The methodological process integrated the conceptualization of technology as a digital mediator and the curricular modeling of a training proposal situated within the Mexican educational context. The developed framework reconfigures traditional pedagogical roles, positioning the teacher as a critical designer, the student as an active agent of their learning, and GAI as an adaptive scaffold. A structured operational model in four stages (pre-writing, drafting, revision, and human feedback) is presented, along with the curriculum for a ten-session teacher training workshop that addresses the technical, pedagogical, and ethical dimensions of artificial mediation. It is concluded that the successful integration of AI transcends mere instrumental use and requires well-founded conceptual frameworks and critical professional development for teachers. The proposed approach allows for leveraging the potential of AI in teaching writing in Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) and mitigating its risks through a humanistic approach, highlighting the need to initiate empirical validation processes in classrooms.
