Abstract

The article is prepared from the presentation presented by the author at the VII International Congress of Neuroeducation, sponsored by the José Martí University of Latin America, between November 16-18, 2023. It is a research result that systematizes practices developed since year 2016, consisting of demonstrating how neurodidactic strategies are an alternative to improve educational praxis, resulting in effective learning and an improvement in the academic performance of students and, finally, an improvement in educational quality. The design and practice of neurodidactic strategies is based on the results of the study of the brain through non-invasive brain visualization techniques, where it has been possible to analyze the functioning of the brain while we read, calculate, memorize, play, create, cooperate, tasks that frequently occur. They are reviewed in educational centers. The main contribution is to disseminate the importance of the contributions of Neuroscience studies and other disciplines such as cognitive psychology for the teaching-learning process, given that the strategies are designed based on how the brain learns and what stimulates its development in the school environment. In this way, the best use can be made of brain functioning when acquiring new knowledge.
