The world is changing so education must also change, we must move from education based on cognitive development to emotional education where learning is connected with emotions. The objective of this article is to carry out an analysis of the importance of emotional education in the students' learning process. It was carried out through a bibliographic review with a descriptive approach associated with emotional education and variables that influence students' emotions so that they achieve knowledge. The results show that emotions act as a complex network in the areas of the brain that are related to learning and the teacher must have emotional skills to generate positive emotions and create bonds with students in addition to using innovative, fun teaching-learning strategies that stimulate their autonomy, promoting academic performance.
