When the concept of educational quality is discussed, it is often perceived as an unattainable ideal by society. Despite growing expectations, the actual outcomes do not always align with these expectations. Efforts to achieve this ideal are made on a daily basis, yet the complex situations faced by educational institutions often result in emotional distress among students, which in turn has a negative impact on the entire educational system. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the issue and to identify potential solutions, it is necessary to consider the following questions: What factors are affecting students' commitment and responsibility towards their studies? Why has there been an increase in apathy towards academic development? What role do socio-emotional skills
play in the educational process? The present study aims to improve school climate and academic 0performance by enhancing students' socioemotional skills, which are innate and develop throughout life. These skills enable students to form strong relationships with themselves, their peers, and their families, fostering positive self-esteem and values. This, in turn, positively impacts their academic performance as well-rounded students. In order to achieve this, the research employs qualitative research methods, including individual and group interviews, which allow the researchers to gain insight into the participants' sensitivity to the topic and their willingness to engage with their emotions, sensations, and feelings. This approach has been shown to positively impact the behavior of the students involved.
