Abstract

Happiness at work determines individual actions where workers can perform their duties with a degree of satisfaction that allows them to perceive a level of well-being in their work environment. The satisfaction or well-being that the performance of his functions produces for the individual is related to the interest or motivation that drives him to carry out his work tasks. In this way, happiness is analyzed as a motivational factor in the performance of workers in a food consumption company in Panama. The research is field type, non-experimental design, and descriptive level. The population corresponded to 180 people who make up the company; and the sample was intentional type represented by 63 workers. The information collection technique was the structured survey with twelve closed dichotomous yes or no questions, and the Emotion Evaluation Test structured by 10 items under the category of multiple answers. It is concluded that the workers receive from the food consumption company, training, and education in the operational area to provide a service of quality and excellence, however, the incentives and bonuses that they received in the past because of performance were eliminated. generating discontent, dissatisfaction, and lack of well-being in their daily work.
