Abstract

The objective is to evaluate the digitalization in the management of student information at the Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Center (CAIPI) of the University of Panama. This system arose from the need to modernize and streamline the management of student information at the Early Childhood Care Center (CAIPI) of the University of Panama through the implementation of a system for the digitization of enrollment. The methodology applied focused on interviews and surveys, exploring the experiences and perceptions of users regarding the implementation of digital processes. The procedures evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of the system developed in PHP, with an emphasis on the usability and quality of the processed data. The results along with the implementation of the PHP system highlighted improvements in the efficiency of the enrollment process, evidencing the reduction of errors in the management of student information. User satisfaction also increased, supporting the effectiveness of the transition to a digital environment. This finding underscores the importance and effectiveness of digitization in the educational environment, with positive implications for the efficient management of student information in the specific context of CAIPI, focused on comprehensive early childhood care. The research highlights success in improving user experience and efficiency, within the framework of the applied methodology.
