Effective communication skills are essential for students in today's educational context. Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a pedagogical approach that integrates real-world tasks to enhance language learning. This study aimed to determine the impact of Project-Based Learning on the communicative skills of upper secondary EFL students at CADI Las Tablas. A mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating a quasi-experimental quantitative component with a qualitative component to provide a comprehensive analysis of the findings. Participants were assigned to either a control group or an experimental group and completed pre- and post-tests to assess their communicative skills. The experimental group participated in project-based learning activities, whereas the control group received traditional instruction. The results showed that the experimental group achieved gains of 53% in speaking, 56% in listening, and 62% in interaction skills, while the control group showed no significant improvements. The findings confirm that Project-Based Learning is an effective pedagogical approach for strengthening EFL students' communicative skills by promoting active, collaborative, and student-centered learning.
