This article presents an analysis of the Pandora's Box Myth, its antecedents, its relationship with the present, and the contradictions located within this literary genre. It exemplifies the power of cause and effect that characterizes human life, placing man as responsible for his actions and the consequences they must assume due to his bad actions. The objective is to make a parallelism between the Pandora's Box Myth and the woman creation myth according to what Judaism and Christianity propose; the research intention is to demonstrate its prevalence and influence today. The article analyzes the myth of the Greek poet Hesiod comparing it with the Biblical Eden episode, providing the reader with the resources necessary for understanding and intertextuality in the different areas of human knowledge such as: literature, art, religion, philosophy, among others. The methodology of this research is of a literary and documentary nature, given the compilation and consultation of some texts used in its development. Pandora's box marks the beginning of humanity's suffering by containing within it the weapons that torture the man's life and, in one way or another, bind him, but it also encourages him to continue fighting to fulfill his desires and yearnings. It is recommended that you study the Pandora's Box Myth to understand the origin of humanity and all the difficulties that man faces in his life journey, trying to never lose hope and finding a light in his path that leads him to a change of attitude.
