Abstract

With this work I have the purpose of telling the Garachiné’s story, which is located in the province of Darien. Also, I try to point out how in about 100 years the has moved to the land, sinking the trail of our ancestor. Even thought, this writing do not make reference about the wave dynamic, it is obvious that strong wave and the power of the costal stream have contributed to the change of costal line of this town. So that, the identification of some human activity such as: houses building near the coast, mangrove deforestation and the extraction of rock and sand of the coast are the main causes that have originated this deforestation of the coast. So, in this paper I want to call the attention about the possible reduction of the coastal line that can happen in others coastal Panamanian.
