The university social service at the University of Panama-CRUA refers to all activities documented and registered in the Vice-Rectorate of Extension (VIEX) through a project that university students must fulfil. The pandemic caused by Covid-19 changed the entire university teaching process. While classes were not interrupted, the university social service process was affected. It was not until the second semester of 2022 that these activities resumed. The existing regulatory framework was utilized, as well as the records and reports of social service. The methodology was considered to have two stages and a longitudinal descriptive nature. This study was conducted with two groups of students from the Faculty of Economics-CRUA, whose activities were situated at different moments: ex-ante, ex-dure, and ex-post. A total of 627 pounds of materials were recycled. The evaluation of the talks and workshops was considered excellent. It was determined that some students have knowledge about financial matters, while others do not.
