Abstract

To systematically describe and explain the scientific evidence on sustainable safety risk management available in the most important databases in Spanish and English for the last 3 years. We mainly entered the SCOPUS database, searching for the terms "safety", "safety management", "risk management", discarding articles that have been published before 2018, and that are not available. In this article, a systematic review of the literature on the methods used for risk management, both qualitative and quantitative, has been carried out, focusing on some phase of the risk management cycle (identification, evaluation, mitigation, monitoring), as well as the main fields of application. In most organizations there are frequent alterations in their functioning that cause disruptions in their daily operations. This type of alterations are a consequence of potential risks that exist in the environment and in the internal processes in which they are developed in the productive activity.
