Abstract

This article attempts to identify how companies in Aguadulce can use green marketing as a sustainable strategy for caring for the environment. The main objective is to publicize the importance of green marketing in caring for the environment in all the processes carried out by companies. The purpose of green marketing is to promote the consumption of nature-friendly products; know the buyers, their customs and buying habits; but such marketing must also reflect responsible practices embedded in the company's strategy. The biggest beneficiaries of green marketing are businesses. By using sustainable marketing, companies create and produce biodegradable products which allow them to expand the portfolio of current and potential customers. To collect the results, a descriptive methodology was used with a non-experimental approach, a telephone survey was applied to a population of 63 companies in Aguadulce.
