Abstract

In this article, the methods used to analyze the soils of a hydrographic sub-basin and determine the vulnerability of these to landslides according to the results obtained will be described, in the first ones we worked was to create a slope map (topography of the land) to know the same, to then obtain different samples that would later be analyzed under different methods in a soil laboratory.These methods are used to demonstrate what are the characteristics of soils vulnerable to landslides, these analyzes showed results that show us the vulnerability of soils to landslides before hydrometeorological events, the main focus that we give to analyzes is to determine the influence that It has moisture on the floors, since the humidity of these determines the state in which they are either semi-solid, plastic or dense liquid, since at the time of a hydrometeorological event (rain) the soils absorb large quantities of water which influences their state, showing that they have a moisture limit to be kept in a plastic state, and not to go to a liquid state, where it will lose its resistance and flow like a dense liquid, thus causing landslides, natural disaster that occurs in our country regularly in the rainy season, causing economic losses micas and humans.
