Abstract

This research analyzed the influence of Big Data and Google Colab platform on information analysis, processing, and management within academic and technological contexts. The study followed a documentary and descriptive approach supported by the review and analysis of 100 indexed scientific publications selected according to thematic relevance, currency, and academic rigor. The methodology incorporated thematic coding processes and documentary frequency analysis aimed at identifying trends related to Big Data, information science, cloud computing, machine learning, and collaborative platforms

for data analysis. The findings revealed that the accelerated growth of digital information significantly transformed the way organizations, educational institutions, and research centers manage information to

support strategic decision-making processes. Likewise, the study identified that Big Data facilitates large-scale information processing through predictive analytics, data mining, and statistical visualization techniques, while Google Colab enables the development of projects based on cloud computing, programming, and computational analysis within collaborative environments. The results also demonstrated that the integration of both technologies strengthened digital and analytical competencies related to programming, information management, analytical thinking, and the automation of scientific processes. In the same way, the accessibility and flexibility of Google Colab contributed to democratizing access to advanced tools for data analysis and processing without requiring specialized technological infrastructure. The study concluded that the convergence between Big Data and Google Colab represents a strategic alternative for optimizing knowledge management, strengthening scientific research, and promoting technological innovation and digital transformation processes in academic and organizational environments. Furthermore, these technologies foster new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
