Abstract

The article Morphosyntactic study of the song Amor y control by the singer and composer Rubén Blades presents both a morphological and syntactic analysis of the words, grammatical categories and sentences that are part of this discourse. The objective of this article is to identify the types of grammatical categories and structures prevailing in Amor y control song. Also, to determine if the internal structure of the statements of Amor y control song is made up of coordinating, subordinating and juxtaposed elements. This research is part of a qualitative-documentary approach and, above all, in the guidelines established by text linguistics as a science dedicated to studying the phenomena of language as a complex system, its structures and functioning. In conclusion, it is recommended to carry out these types of morphosyntactic analysis, since they help to improve students' linguistic skills and their ability to express themselves, allowing them to understand how the language works in each context.
