This study examines the social impact of digital technology trends applied to Roblox gamification, emphasizing the identification of risks affecting children and adolescents in interactive virtual environments. The objective is to determine how participation in digital gaming experiences influences social behavior, the consumption of virtual goods, and exposure to inappropriate or risky practices within online communities. The research employed a qualitative methodology with a descriptive scope and a documentary approach, supported by a literature review, analysis of technology policies, data protection regulations, and recent studies on gamification and digital safety for minors. The findings indicate that the expansion of multiplayer platforms such as Roblox increases both opportunities for interactive learning and exposure to risks related to digital commerce, interaction with strangers, security vulnerabilities, access inequalities, and the normalization of consumer practices that may shape the social behavior of minors. It is concluded that the social impact of these technological trends requires the strengthening of educational and regulatory policies focused on digital literacy, content supervision, personal data protection, and the ethical use of virtual resources, with the aim of fostering safe and enriching digital environments for children and adolescents.
